About Us

Purvis Animal Clinic and Equine Center is located at The Old Blackburn Stockyards. Constructed into Veterinary clinic by Dr. Ewell, who sold the location in 2002 to Dr. David Royals and Dr Kirk Frazier. The stockyard building was renovated into an Equine Hospital and is a full service hospital for horses. The small animal building was renovated to offer full service Veterinary hospital equipped with all the state of the art diagnostic equipment.

About Your Doctor
-Dr. Royals is a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and a 1996 graduate of Oak Grove High School. He now resides in Purvis with his wife Katy, who also is from Hattiesburg, and they have four wonderful girls, Rayne, Rivers, Landry, and Auburn. He and his family enjoy everything on horses, including rodeoing, barrel racing, team roping, and trail riding.  Our pets include 2 Boarder Collies (Switch, & Texie), 1 Australian Cattle dogs (Dixie), 1 Savannah cat (Meiko), 1 Yorkie Mix (Pearl), and 1 Miniature Yorkie (Chap). Also they have a couple barn cats, dozen horses, and about 50 head of mexican cows. Thomas also enjoys hunting, fishing, motocross, and atv riding.  He is a member of the AVMA, MVMA, AAEP, USTRC, DSTRA, USATRC, NLBRA, NBHA, and MJHSRA.

-Dr. Landon K. Frazier has been a part of our clinic family since 2019. He is a 2019 graduate of Mississippi State University of Veterinary Medicine and an Alumni of Jones College and Presbyterian Christian School. He is married to Dr. Ellen Frazier of All Animal Clinic since 2022. They have 1 beautiful daughter together named Ellison. Their pets together include Poppy (Golden Retriever), Tucker (Labrador Retriever Mixed), and Neppi (Domestic Cat). Dr. Frazier is a member of the Oak Grove Church. Some of his hobbies include hunting, fishing, golfing, and running the family farm. He is a member of AVMA, MVMA, and is a USDA NVAP accredited Veterinarian.

-Dr. M. Brett Lee has been a part of our clinic family since 2022. He is a 2017 graduate of Mississippi State University of Veterinary Medicine with a Bachelor of Animal Science and Bachelor of Agricultural Information Science. Dr. Lee is an Alumni of Purvis High School as well. He has been married to Dr. Kathrine Lee of Pet Hospitals since 2019. They have 2 wonderful children together named Walker & Audrey. Their pets include a dog, Mac and 2 cats, Louis & Pudge. Some of his hobbies include hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He is a member of AVMA, MVMA, and is a USDA NVAP accredited Veterinarian.
